
Sr. Executive Assistant/West Houston

This position works side by side with the CEO acting more of a "Chief of Staff" essentially a high level operator, strategist, and gatekeeper rolled into one. Must have energy/chemical industry experience.
Executive Coordination
Prepare CEO for board meetings, investor calls, and government interactions Manage leadership team meetings, set agendas, follow-ups and accountability Act as a bridge between the CEO and senior executives (CFO, COO, etc) Strategic Execution
Translate the CEO's vision into actionable plans across the company Track progress on major initiatives (new drilling programs, renewable investments, grid modernization) Ensure different business units (upstream, midstream, downstream, or renewables) stay aligned Decision Support
Gather and synthesize data on big decisions like M&A deals, Capital allocation, Market entry, Provide clear recommendations with risk analysis Stakeholder Management
Coordinate communication with Board of Directors, Investors and analysts, Government and regulators (huge in energy) Help shape messaging around sensitive issues like, Environment impact, ESG commitments, Energy policy Special Projects
Lead high priority, cross functional initiatives such as Energy transition strategy (shift to renewables, hydrogen, etc); Digital transformation (AI, smart grids, predictive maintenance); Crisis response Operational Oversight
Not running operations directly but...Monitoring key performance metrics (production, safety, uptime); Flagging risks early; Ensuring execution discipline across large scale projects Skills Required
Strong strategic thinking along with business acumen Ability to simplify complex technical/financial information High emotional intelligence to work closely with senior executives Project management at massive scale Discretion and trustworthiness as you will be involved in every sensitive conversation The Chief of Staff to a CEO in an energy company is less of an "assistant" and more of a force multiplier...someone who ensures the CEO's priorities are executed across a complex, high stakes organization.
