
Asst./Assoc. Ecommerce Photographer - Hollister

The Hollister Co. team is looking for a Photographer that has a passion for studio e-commerce photography. This person will be responsible for shooting studio on-figure e-commerce imagery and ensuring that the garments are captured in the most appealing and compelling manner. These images will be customer-facing on all Hollister’s e-commerce and digital platforms. This person will work closely with the art direction teams, stylists, studio production, and other photographers in a fast‑paced studio environment.
This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.
What Will You Be Doing?
Support the photo studio team in capturing e-commerce product imagery, including assisting with day‑to‑day shoots, basic lighting setups, and posing direction
Assist on in‑house marketing shoots, partnering with photographers, art directors, stylists, and social teams to help execute creative concepts on set
Collaborate with art direction and senior photography team to support lighting, posing, and set design updates across e-commerce and marketing work
Work closely with stylists, art directors, production teams and makeup artists to help maintain and uphold photo style guidelines
Participate in virtual and in‑person team meetings and reviews, contributing to conversations around imagery, posing, lighting, and post‑production feedback
Utilize tools such as Adobe Creative Suites, Figma, and Capture One for basic edits (cropping, exposure, background cleanup, colour correction) as needed
Maintain studio organisation, cleanliness, and photo equipment readiness
Provide general studio support, assisting with production and creative needs and adapting to evolving priorities
What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred
2+ years of relevant experience
Strong product photography experience (both off‑figure and on‑figure)
Sharp eye for detail, colour accuracy, and overall image quality
Solid understanding of photography, lighting, composition, and photo editing
Experience with digital workflows, including Capture One
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suites
Basic retouching and editing skills
Working knowledge of Mac OS and DSLR cameras
Strong organisational and time‑management skills
Ability to troubleshoot lighting and camera issues on set
Comfortable working within deadlines and prioritising workload
Previous in‑studio photography experience
