We are recruiting a Tax Analyst for a growing organization in Raleigh to join their corporate finance team in Raleigh. This role provides hands‑on exposure to a wide range of corporate tax activities, from multi‑state compliance and reporting to tax planning initiatives and audit support. This position offers the chance to work closely with experienced tax leaders while contributing to projects that impact tax strategy across a large, multi‑entity organization. Assist with federal, state, and international income tax compliance and planning initiatives, including gathering data and supporting tax strategy projects. Prepare and manage multi‑state sales and use tax filings, ensuring timely and accurate compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Research tax regulations and analyze tax notices or correspondence from federal, state, and local authorities, coordinating responses as needed. Support income tax audits and inquiries by compiling requested documentation and working with internal stakeholders and external advisors. Contribute to the preparation of annual tax provision calculations, including supporting schedules and documentation for financial reporting. Perform monthly and quarterly tax account reconciliations and assist with corporate tax projections and forecasting activities. Assist with the preparation of international tax filings and related reporting requirements, partnering with internal teams and external tax advisors when needed. Prepare and process estimated tax payments and support ongoing process improvements related to tax compliance, reporting, and documentation. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field CPA is preferred Strong Microsoft Excel skills and ability to work with large data sets Solid analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret financial information and draw meaningful conclusions Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
