The Impact You Will Make in this Role The Client Advocate Manager will lead a team of Client Advocate Executives, managing assigned clients in Health Information Systems (HIS) products and services. The role involves serving as trusted advisors and strategic partners to innovative healthcare organizations, influencing client success, driving measurable business outcomes, and strengthening Solventum’s position as a leader in HIS.
Drive best practice performance to achieve top quartile results in revenue cycle processes, clinical efficiencies, and outcomes.
Collaborate with a highly experienced team to drive customer retention and renewals of the Solventum HIS portfolio.
Nurture and build relationships with CXO, VP, and Department Managers to maximize value across regional market segments.
Advise clients on business process and customer workflow improvement in a changing market segment.
Lead cross‑functional focus on Customer Outcomes, Value, and Experiences.
Client Care & Advocacy
Cultivate executive‑level relationships, positioning Solventum as a strategic partner and thought leader.
Leverage performance insights to guide client decisions and shape long‑term partnership strategies.
Coordinate with internal HIS departments to raise client issues and concerns, and engage technical teams for integration needs.
Champion continuous improvement through Voice of Customer (VOC) programs, innovation initiatives, and process improvements.
Act as the client's advocate within Solventum, articulating partnership value and influencing internal priorities.
Elevate client visibility through strategic recognition programs and reference opportunities.
Retention and Revenue
Maintain partnership and success with HIS on existing products/services, recognizing additional business needs and sales opportunities.
Align with the sales team as new needs arise, monitoring emerging risks and escalating when warranted.
Identify products/solutions at risk and work with business leaders to mitigate impact.
Seek growth opportunities and collaborate with sales teams to advance strategic initiatives.
Protect and expand revenue by aligning client needs with Solventum’s solution roadmap.
Value Realization
Lead ROI analysis and performance reviews to demonstrate solution impact and inform executive decision‑making.
Perform in‑depth analysis of client performance metrics to inform strategic decisions, emphasizing top quartile performance, product outcomes, and financial impact.
People and Performance Management
Manage and mentor team members.
Partner with stakeholders to define and enhance KPIs and dashboards.
Ensure the team meets or exceeds established performance metrics and accountability frameworks.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Strategic Execution
Serve as the Client Advocate for activities across HIS within assigned partner organizations.
Engage HIS business leaders to coordinate activities across multiple HIS departments and subject matter experts.
Conduct workflow and configuration reviews with clients implementing Solventum best‑practice workflows.
Refine content and workflow through feedback sessions and continuous improvement.
Understand client technical environments and manage changes that require Solventum engagement.
Strategy and Planning
Partner with clients to co‑create strategic roadmaps that integrate HIS solutions into long‑term vision.
Update plans as decisions are made internally and externally.
Communicate HIS solution roadmaps and assist in planning for portfolio workflow changes and evolution.
Identify opportunities for deeper solution alignment based on market trends.
Leadership and Coordination
Set the agenda for advocacy engagements to shape client strategy.
Lead client meetings and coordinate follow‑up on all requested items.
Position Solventum as an industry leader through insights, thought leadership, and best practices.
Foster innovation enhancing client experience and competitive advantage.
Performance and Analytics
Define and track KPIs measuring adoption, satisfaction, and value realization.
Deliver executive‑level reporting and insights that inform strategic decisions.
Champion participation in industry benchmarks (e.g., KLAS) to validate performance.
Ensure baseline data is secured on clients prior to go‑live of product/service.
Analyze client analytics and deliver ROI and performance reports on a scheduled basis.
Stay up to date on industry and product changes.
Participate in corporate programs and comply with policies, professional standards, and Solventum values.
Your Skills and Expertise
Bachelor’s degree or higher AND seven (7) years’ experience as an RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CDI specialist, RN, Sales Executive, CIC, CCDS, or coding certification, plus 2 years managing direct reports.
OR Associate degree AND at least eleven (11) years’ experience in the same fields, plus 2 years managing direct reports.
Proven ability to lead a strategic team, implement plans, and manage complex initiatives with measurable business impact.
Strong understanding of coding and clinical documentation integrity and revenue‑cycle workflow.
Knowledgeable in EMR workflows, systems, implementation, and medical professional training.
Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain client relationships at multiple levels, including C‑Suite.
Experienced in consulting with clients in health information systems.
Demonstrated knowledge of HIS solutions, services, and products with emphasis on ROI metrics (CMI and other financial metrics).
Industry knowledge and proficient computer skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Creative problem‑solving and diplomatic conflict management.
Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, presentation skills, training skills, and innovation.
Teamwork and collaboration with subject matter experts, sales executives, and across departments.
Travel & Location Occasional travel up to 50–60% domestic; international travel upon request.
Location: Remote.

Compensation range: $187,600 – $257,950, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay if eligible.
