
Clubhouse Server Assistant

Position Summary:
The
Clubhouse Server Assistant
reports to Food & Beverage management and is responsible for ensuring dining spaces are properly set and clean, before, during and after every meal service. They are also responsible for assisting servers and bartenders with any needs that arise throughout the shift. The Server Assistant is a vital support line for front of house (FOH) operations, helping to maintain optimal workflow. They will bring their best self to work every day to be the best teammate and employee possible. They are responsible for, but not limited to, the following; resetting tables, clearing tables, refilling drinks, delivering bread, delivering meals, assisting host(ess), taking out the trash, helping wash dishes, restocking glassware behind bars.
Core Duties:
Provides support to servers, bartenders and expediter
Communicates with Host(ess) to ensure steady workflow
Ensures that all front of house (FOH) dining spaces are clean and presentable before, during, and after every shift
Responsibilities:
Set all tables prior to the start of service
Stocks and maintains service stations
Sets waters per reservation numbers/times and serves water promptly to any walk-in tables as seated.
Prepares and distributes bread baskets to tables as they are seated
Clears dirty dishes from tables
Refills non-alcoholic drinks at tables, as needed
Removes dirty trays from dining spaces into the kitchen, ensuring all trays get broken down in an efficient, timely manner.
Resets tables promptly and efficiently
Wipes tables down with sanitized water after guest departure
Cleans up spills or broken services wares promptly and with minimal disruption to diners.
Always aware of their surroundings and attentive to arising needs
Supports servers, bartenders, and expediter as needed, throughout the shift
Ensures all ice bins (service and bar) are full throughout service
Takes trash and recyclables out to dumpster area as needed
Polishes silver
Attends all pre-shift “line-up” meetings
Moves tables and chairs, as needed, throughout service to accommodate the dining needs of Members and guests
Assists with banquet and buffet set up, when requested
Performs other appropriate duties as assigned by a supervisor
Requirements
Must have the ability to comply with county health regulations regarding Hepatitis A vaccinations.
Physical Requirements:
Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, twist, or reach.
Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.
Continuous repetitive motions.
Work in hot, humid and noisy environment.
