NA SMB Sales Strategy Intern
Overview
The NA SMB Sales Strategy Intern will support the development and implementation of key projects within the North America Small and Medium Business (SMB) Sales organization. This role provides hands‑on exposure to sales strategy, process improvement, market intelligence, and lead management within a global technology company.
The intern will collaborate closely with members of the NA SMB Strategy Transformation team and gain practical experience in project management, sales processes, and cross‑functional sales and marketing operations. Throughout the internship, the intern will take ownership of a defined workstream, contribute to core team initiatives, and present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the development and execution of active projects supporting NA SMB Sales Strategy initiatives Collaborate with key stakeholders across the NA SMB Strategy Transformation team Participate in core team meetings and contribute to ongoing discussions and planning sessions Own the development, tracking, and progression of an assigned workstream Analyze processes related to sales operations, market intelligence, and lead management Report project updates, insights, and key findings to the core team on a regular basis Work with multiple technology platforms across Sales and Marketing organizations Support content organization and documentation preparation for strategy and process initiatives At the end of the internship there will be a report out and recommendation session with the senior leadership for NA SMB
Required Skills Qualifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Strong process management skills Ability to organize content and prepare clear, professional documentation Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstream
Preferred / Optional Skills
Project planning and project management experience Database management exposure Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems Familiarity with CRM processes and CRM project management
Skills Areas Of Development
Leadership and management development Sales strategy and sales process optimization Market intelligence and SMB sales analytics Financial and operational reporting (including combined uniform reporting concepts) Sales and marketing alignment within a large sales organization
