The Opportunity A leading global specialty chemicals and materials company is looking for a Continuous Improvement Specialist to drive measurable operational gains across its Advanced Materials manufacturing sites. Reporting to the Operations Director – Advanced Materials, you'll own the CI program with a clear target: deliver 4% in annual cost savings while elevating quality, output, and CI culture across the organization. This is a high-visibility role with real influence over how the business improves — and room to grow with it.
Your Day-to-Day
Lead the implementation and annual enhancement of the CI Maturity Assessment Scorecard to develop and sustain a strong CI culture
Build and manage a robust pipeline of CI projects aligned to organizational goals and three-year strategic plans
Monitor the monthly CI Scorecard and track progress across sites to keep improvement initiatives on target
Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste, streamline processes, and improve operational efficiency
Facilitate Kaizen events to address problems and drive immediate, measurable improvements
Partner with manufacturing sites to establish CI best practices and provide hands‑on guidance
Participate actively in site review processes, providing reporting and accountability at the leadership level
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business
Lean and/or Six Sigma certification or demonstrated proficiency
3–5 years of broad plant operations experience with a focus on continuous improvement, operations leadership, or integration
Proven track record as a change leader within a large, complex organization
