Payor Relations Support Specialist - Affiliations and Denovos, Payor Relations Department

We are looking for a team member who is both big-picture and detail-oriented, thrives on problem solving through collaboration, and drive initiatives forward with project management. As a Payor Strategy Specialist, this role will collaborate with analysts, revenue cycle management, integration teams, field operations, and supported doctors to evaluate, recommend and communicate payor strategies.

To give you an idea of the team structure, you will work within the Payor Relations Department, reporting to the Manager of Payor Relations.
Below is an overview of the role, responsibilities and expectations: Determine payor participation strategies for affiliations and denovos, using qualitative and quantitative analysis tools, for existing and new payor relationships Collaborate with the Legal Department and Dental Insurance Administration Department to evaluate payor contract terms and conditions to ensure accurate and timely implementation Build and develop relationships with dental insurance payor representatives Build and develop relationships with supported doctors and field operations Review payor metrics to determine payor participation recommendations during a process called Payor Strategy Assessment Run and maintain projects particular to affiliations and denovos Collaborate across support departments for process improvement applicable to the life cycle of an affiliation or denovo office Minimum Requirements:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI reports Strong organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks Ability to communicate and collaborate with co-workers to achieve a common goal High level of maturity, personal initiative, and sound judgment Strong work ethic Desirable Qualifications:
Healthcare and/or dental industry experience Dental Service Organization experience 3-5+ years of relevant work experience with payor network support
