Commercial Attorney (Government Tech Sales)

Overview

Our client is a leading enterprise technology company that provides cloud-based software solutions to state and local governments. They are looking for an experienced attorney to support SaaS deal negotiations and help drive deals to close in partnership with Sales. This role is highly business-facing and focused on moving deals efficiently while applying practical risk judgment across licensing, IP, privacy, and security. The ideal candidate will have strong SaaS experience and be comfortable working directly with Sales teams in a fast-paced environment. A background in government technology, working with state and local government customers, is strongly preferred. Willingness to travel is required for deal support and internal meetings. This remote position starts ASAP. Its initial duration is 3+ months with the intent to convert to full-time employment. The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $105 and $115. This range is an estimate; compensation will be based on qualifications, skillset, relevant experience, client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law. Support SaaS deal negotiations and help drive deals to close in partnership with Sales. Apply practical risk judgment across licensing, IP, privacy, and security. Work directly with Sales teams in a fast-paced environment to move deals efficiently. Travel for deal support and internal meetings as required. Qualifications
