
Field Operations Lead, Multifamily Construction

We’re looking for a driven and experienced Field Operations Manager to lead and elevate a team of Superintendents across multifamily and commercial construction projects. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality builds while strengthening field operations, team performance, and project execution.
You’ll work closely with senior leadership to build a strong field team, support project success, and ensure consistency across multiple job sites. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and knows how to bring out the best in people.
What You’ll Be Doing
Partner with senior leadership to support hiring, onboarding, and development of field personnel
Help recruit and build a strong team of Superintendents aligned with operational goals
Mentor and coach Superintendents to improve performance and support long-term growth
Identify skill gaps and implement training or process improvements across the field team
Work closely with Superintendents onsite to ensure projects meet quality, schedule, and safety expectations
Provide hands-on leadership during key phases of construction and renovation projects
Oversee project scheduling and ensure timelines and milestones are consistently achieved
Enforce quality control standards and drive accountability across all active projects
Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and ensure alignment with project goals
Address subcontractor performance issues and drive solutions quickly and effectively
Evaluate team capabilities and implement strategies to expand and strengthen field operations
Stay current on industry trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve performance
Support tracking and oversight of capital equipment as needed
What You Bring
5+ years of experience in multifamily construction
5+ years in a leadership role within the construction industry
Strong experience with renovation projects and managing multiple job sites
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams
Solid understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and field operations
Knowledge of safety regulations and a track record of enforcing compliance
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to make decisions in fast-moving, high-pressure environments
Comfortable traveling regionally up to 50%
Proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Office
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
