We are partnering with a leading AD100 design firm in Manhattan to identify a Junior Interior Designer to join their growing team. This is an opportunity to work on some of the most exclusive, design-driven residential projects in the country, with project budgets ranging from $25M to $150M.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented designer with a strong design sensibility and a passion for ultra-luxury interiors.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the design and execution of high‑end residential interiors from concept through installation
Assist with FF&E selection, sourcing, and specification
Develop detailed millwork drawings and custom furniture designs
Produce interior elevations, floor plans, and detailed drawing sets
Create and present mood boards and design presentations for clients
Collaborate closely with senior designers, architects, and vendors to ensure design intent is executed at the highest level
Qualifications:
1–3+ years of experience in high‑end residential or luxury interior design
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite preferred
Experience with FF&E, custom furniture, and millwork and technical detailing
Strong graphic and presentation skills with a refined design eye
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
