
Human Resources Director

POSITION SUMMARY
Coordinate and manage personnel and human resources administration for community. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: managing all aspects of employment (recruitment, hiring, counseling, evaluations, retention, terminations, etc.); interfacing with managers to promote team member relations and assist with conflict resolution; maintaining and enforcing community policies and procedures; and ensuring compliance with federal and state employment laws.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate the recruitment function of the community from job postings, advertising, interviewing and tracking applications
Maintain all personnel and medical files in a complete and accurate manner from hire to termination
Ensure current federal and state postings are placed in the proper locations
Ensure that the community is compliant with current federal and state employment regulations and as directed by Silverstone
Ensure the Team Member Handbook and human resources policies and procedures are accurate and up-to-date
Participate in the orientation of new Team Members, including review of the Team Member Handbook, benefits, tax forms, training of safety procedures, etc.
Assist managers with interpretation of the Team Member Handbook and other rules and regulations
Interface with Executive Director and managers to assist in personnel-related issues and to provide overall human resources support
Assist department managers with staffing of their departments, eliminating/correcting problem areas, and improvement of service delivery
Educate employees on benefits programs, coordinate open enrollment meetings
Maintain HRIS, payroll and timekeeping systems
Assist department managers with payroll and timekeeping functions
Assist with Workers Compensation claims and may coordinate work between employees and insurance carrier
Assist with the processing employee evaluations
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise all members of the Human Resource department including coordinating and approving time off, conducting performance evaluations, counseling, and directing and managing the workflow for the department

Educational Requirements and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field
Two to three years experience in employee relations or human resources, or in a supervisory or managerial role in a health care setting
