Position Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated
Automotive Sales Consultant
to join our sales team. The ideal candidate has a passion for selling, enjoys working with customers, and is eager to learn about our new and pre-owned vehicle inventory, financing options, and vehicle features.
Key Responsibilities
Assist customers in selecting vehicles by promoting model options, features, and additional products following dealership policies
Conduct vehicle test drives while ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Provide customers with a clear explanation of vehicle operations, warranties, and servicing requirements during delivery
Maintain accurate and organized sales documentation
Negotiate sales ethically and clearly to close deals
Stay informed about vehicle inventory, financing programs, and current promotions
Attend staff meetings, ongoing training, and educational sessions as required
Perform additional duties as assigned to support dealership operations

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Valid and unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record
Sales experience is beneficial but not required
Professional, dependable, and self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Strong commitment to safety and excellent customer service
Basic computer and internet skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional appearance and strong work ethic
Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions
