
Email Marketing Coordinator

Bucked Up is seeking an Email Marketing Coordinator to help execute and optimize one of our most important revenue channels. This role is for someone who understands that email marketing is not just creative—it’s performance-driven and measurable .
You will be responsible for writing, building, and optimizing email campaigns and automated flows that engage, educate, and drive revenue. This is a hands‑on role in a fast‑paced environment where attention to detail, speed, and ownership matter.
The ideal candidate can work independently , manage multiple initiatives at once, and continuously improve performance based on results—not opinions.
Key Responsibilities Email Campaign & Flow Execution Develop, write, and deploy high‑performing email campaigns tied to product launches, promotions, and brand initiatives
Support and optimize automated flows , including: Welcome
Abandoned cart / checkout
Post‑purchase
Upsell / cross‑sell
Ensure emails are QA’d, launched on time, and aligned with campaign objectives
Persuasive, Conversion‑Focused Copywriting Maintain Bucked Up’s bold, confident, energetic brand voice
Balance education and selling with a clear primary CTA
Simplify complex products into easy‑to‑understand messaging
Optimization & Testing Assist with A/B testing of subject lines, headlines, CTAs, and messaging angles
Iterate on copy and structure based on engagement and conversion data
Apply learnings from past campaigns to future sends
Performance Awareness & Reporting Monitor email and flow performance in Klaviyo
Understand and track core metrics (CTR, CVR, RPR)
Identify underperforming emails and recommend improvements
Cross‑Functional Collaboration Work closely with design to ensure copy and layout work together effectively
Collaborate with marketing and product teams on launches and priorities
Communicate proactively around timelines, blockers, and feedback
Qualifications Experience 2–3+ years of email marketing experience (ecommerce preferred)
Proven experience writing emails tied to revenue and conversion goals
Experience supporting both campaigns and automated flows
Strong understanding of email copy best practices:
Subject lines
Above‑the‑fold clarity
CTA structure
Familiarity with persuasion frameworks and customer psychology
Ability to write concise, engaging, action‑oriented copy
Tools & Platforms Hands‑on experience with Klaviyo (strongly preferred)
Comfortable using analytics dashboards to evaluate performance
Proficiency with Google Sheets / Excel for basic reporting and analysis
Mindset & Ownership Takes ownership of work from brief to execution
Proactive communicator who raises issues early
Comfortable operating in a fast‑moving environment
Results‑focused, not vanity‑metric focused
Preferred Skills Experience writing for fitness, supplement, or CPG brands
Basic understanding of email layout and UX best practices
Familiarity with deliverability fundamentals
Experience supporting high‑volume email programs
