
Carpenter/Framer Lead Foremen.

We are seeking an experienced Lead Rough Carpentry Framer to oversee and perform structural framing on commercial projects. This role is responsible for leading a crew, ensuring quality workmanship, maintaining production schedules, and upholding safety standards on site. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader with strong framing knowledge and the ability to manage people and tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a framing crew on job sites
Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
Layout and coordinate framing activities to meet project schedules
Construct and oversee framing of walls, floors, roofs, and structural components
Ensure all work is level, square, plumb, and built to specification
Train, mentor, and develop crew members
Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and other trades
Monitor material usage and communicate job site needs
Enforce safety policies and OSHA compliance at all times
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient job site
Identify and resolve issues in the field proactively
Conduct thorough pre‑task planning and lead daily jobsite meetings. Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and documentation.
Perform routine equipment and tool inspections to ensure proper operation and safety.
Qualifications
5+ years of rough carpentry/framing experience
Proven leadership or foreman experience preferred
Strong ability to read and interpret construction documents
In‑depth knowledge of framing methods, materials, and tools
Ability to manage crews and maintain productivity
Physically capable of performing demanding labor (lifting 50+ lbs, climbing, etc.)
NCCCO Tower Crane certification is a (plus).
Valid driver’s license required.
