
Call Center Representative

Job Overview
The Call Center Representative answers general Stone Mountain Park inquiries, makes reservations for Campground and Hotels, communicates information via telephone and email and assists with other Guest Services duties to include but not limited to selling various Stone Mountain Park tickets and Mountain Memberships.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Answer general information line for the park and direct callers to appropriate department
Provide accurate answers to frequently asked questions
Perform Gateway ticketing system functions related to ticket sales, park membership sales, and provides information regarding availability and capacity
Handles guest inquiries regarding ticket information, membership information, making reservations, updating reservations, and all ticketing sales
Assists guest with online purchases including tickets, hotel, golf and campground reservations
Provides information to explain ticket prices, attractions schedules, and park special events
Treat guests with friendliness and respect all, with an enthusiastic spirit.
Provides guests with information regarding recreational activities at the Park to include but not limited to fishing, hiking and picnicking
Provide guests with directions to the Park, attractions, food and merchandise venues, offices, and special events
Communicate correct product information to guests regarding coupons and special offers
Responsible for reviewing the Daily Adventure Plan (D.A.P.) for special events and Park operation information, schedules, and locations to ensure that accurate information is provided to guests
Other administrative projects and duties as assigned
All other duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
Must be 18 years old or older
Must be able to work weekends, nights, and holidays as necessary
Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language
Must be able to maintain a good working relationship with coworkers
Must have excellent communication skills
Must be detail oriented and able to follow written and oral instructions
Must be able to perform multiple tasks at once
Must be able to understand a personal computer’s basic functions and be able to operate it
Must be able to take direction from others in a fast paced environment
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
Education And/or Experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
At least one year related customer service experience and/or training
Previous sales experience preferred
Bilingual is preferred but not required

Reach with hands and arms
Frequently required talk and hear
Occasionally required to stand, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Must be able to take directional cues directly and indirectly
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions.
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
