A luxury golf resort, blending the warmth of Texas hospitality with refined comfort, is seeking a new Director of National Accounts. The property spans 500 rooms and suites, 10 private ranch houses, four pools, including a signature rooftop infinity pool, an award-winning spa, and 13 restaurant and bar concepts. The ideal candidate will bring a proven record of securing in-house group business at a luxury resort or similarly scaled hotel. This individual will excel at soliciting and closing group business across all market segments while upholding exceptional rate integrity and maximizing revenue opportunities. Success in this role requires the ability to consistently achieve monthly revenue goals, develop and execute strategic sales action plans, maintain strong interdepartmental communication, and complete special projects as assigned by the Director of Sales & Marketing. Responsibilities Adhere to all written standards of operation, policies and procedures, manuals, memos, and verbal instructions that define the essential functions of the role. Meet or exceed weekly, quarterly, and annual sales goals, targets, and initiatives. Develop, actively solicit, and map group business accounts within the assigned territory. Maintain a complete and accurate database of accounts within assigned markets. Identify and qualify prospective clients through telemarketing efforts, trade shows, sales blitzes, and other organized sales initiatives. Maximize results from all sales initiatives by conducting timely follow-up on leads, engaging with in-house clients to uncover additional opportunities, and proactively managing assigned accounts. Follow all group sales standards and procedures, including timely and accurate completion of required documentation, forms, and correspondence. Present rates and package information clearly and within approved guidelines to maximize revenue and protect overall yield. Represent the property in a professional manner, demonstrating a strong commitment to service excellence during all client interactions. Maintain productive relationships with customers, industry partners, and internal departments. Collaborate closely with Convention Services, Reservations, and other operational teams to ensure all meeting details are communicated accurately and executed seamlessly. Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned to support efficient resort operations. Qualifications 7+ years of group selling experience preferred at a luxury resort or hotel (minimum 400 rooms). Minimum 70+ group room nights on peak. Prior experience selling to the Incentive, Insurance, and Corporate Group markets. Must be able to perform the job on-site; this is not a remote position. Experience with Delphi / FDC preferred. Must be able to work flexible shifts, including holidays, weekends, and evenings. Must be able to navigate the property during site tours throughout the resort.
