We are looking to add a motivated, effective food service Director of Food and Nutrition to our Heatlhcare team in Baton Rouge. As a Director of Food and Nutrition, you will have the opportunity to lead a talented team of food service workers and manage all aspects of a food service department to ensure that customers and clients never miss a meal. What you'll be doing:
Oversees retail dining, patient dining, high end catering operations, coffee shop, and physician dining services Manage budgeting, purchasing, and financial performance for a
complex, multi-unit hospitality operation Leads a team of
100 employees and 5 managers Reports to
Hospital Administration / Regional Director What we're looking for:
Bachelors degree preferred in
Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Nutrition, Culinary Arts, or related field Certified Dietary Manager certificate Minimum
5 years of leadership experience
in food service, hospitality, healthcare dining, or multi-unit operations Proven experience managing
multi-million-dollar budgets, labor management, and financial performance Experience leading
large teams
across multiple departments and service lines Strong knowledge of
food safety, sanitation, regulatory compliance, and healthcare standards Demonstrated
leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Experience in
healthcare food service or hospital environment preferred ServSafe Manager Certification required Where you'll be working:
