Senior Leasing Attorney
to join its nationally recognized Real Estate Practice. This
hybrid
role is open to candidates based in
New York or Los Angeles
and may be structured as either a
staff attorney or partner-track position , depending on experience.
This is a unique opportunity to work with national and international clients on sophisticated commercial real estate leasing matters across a wide range of asset classes.

8+ years of commercial real estate leasing experience
Strong background representing landlords and tenants
Experience with complex, high-value lease negotiations
Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment
Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
Admission to the NY or CA Bar (or ability to obtain promptly)
About the Real Estate Team The team advises national and international clients across industries such as financial services, telecommunications, media, real estate, and healthcare.
Attorneys handle sophisticated leasing matters across asset classes, including:
Ground leases
You’ll collaborate with colleagues across U.S. and international offices while providing practical, business-oriented legal advice to clients.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial leases
Advise clients on leasing strategy, risk mitigation, and portfolio management
Handle amendments, subleases, assignments, estoppels, and SNDAs
Manage transactions from engagement through execution
Communicate proactively with clients and internal teams
Collaborate with attorneys across national and international offices
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school
Admission to the NY or CA Bar (or ability to obtain promptly)
8+ years of commercial leasing experience in a law firm or in-house setting
Deep understanding of leasing structures, market terms, and industry dynamics
Proven ability to manage multiple transactions in a client-focused environment
Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
Experience with national or multi-state leasing portfolios preferred
Excellent judgment and collaborative working style
Compensation is based on experience, skills, and location.
