
Creative Visual Merchandiser

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a creative visual merchandiser with 5 or more years of experience for a contract to hire opportunity for our retail client based in New York, NY. This role is hybrid 3 days in office 2 days work from home. This is a great contract role that offers the opportunity to work with a results-oriented and dedicated team.
Responsibilities:
Conceptualize and design innovative, visually compelling materials across formats including graphics, plans, renderings, and 3D visuals.
Develop and execute the production of ready files for a variety of needs.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail across design, typography, print and manufacturing specifications, materials, dimensions, assembly, and feasibility.
Refer to brand guidelines and archival assets to maintain consistent aesthetic and design standards across all projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Merchandising, Fashion Merchandising, Exhibition Design, or related fields.
Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and 3D design software.
Extensive knowledge of the beauty industry (market, visual merchandising trends and best practices)
Demonstrable visual design skills with a strong retail merchandising portfolio.
Experience:
5+ years experience as a creative visual merchandiser
Employment Type: Contract To Hire
Compensation: $52.00-$55.00 per hour
