Content Specialist
Overview This role focuses on developing, refining, and executing customer‑facing marketing collateral, with an emphasis on brochure PDFs and PowerPoint presentations aligned to key industry segments and applications. You will translate complex scientific concepts into clear, compelling, and visually polished content that supports commercial priorities and customer engagement, while collaborating closely with Product Management, Applications, Sales, and Marketing teams.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain brochure PDFs, presentations, and marketing collateral for the Orbitrap portfolio.
Translate complex scientific and technical content into clear, persuasive messaging.
Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure accuracy and alignment of content.
Ensure consistency in branding, tone, and visual presentation.
Support go‑to‑market execution with high‑quality, timely deliverables.
Refine value propositions and product positioning.
Incorporate stakeholder feedback to optimize materials.
Manage multiple content projects with strong attention to detail.
Support sales enablement and customer engagement materials.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
3+ years in marketing content, product marketing, or scientific communications.
Familiarity with life sciences or analytical instrumentation markets preferred.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong visual storytelling and presentation design capabilities.
Ability to simplify complex technical information.
Strong communication and project management skills.
Ability to produce polished content with minimal supervision.
Strong collaboration and editing skills.
Knowledge of branding and content consistency best practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Marketing, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
Experience creating presentations and customer‑facing collateral.
Experience with Adobe tools, primarily PPT and PDF creation/editing; PDF tools experience is a plus.
Work Environment This is a 100% remote, 6‑month temporary contract position. You will contribute to a high‑impact portfolio while partnering with a collaborative, high‑performing team driven by a shared passion for discovery and innovation.
Job Type & Location Contract position based out of West Sacramento, CA.
Pay & Benefits The pay range for this position is $52.88–$62.50 per hour.
