Job Summary The Senior HR Employee Relations Generalist processes unemployment claims, supports compliance items, assists with employee relations tasks for training, handles the PRN process (removal of duty and generates letters), and provides administrative assistance to the department. This position operates under a hybrid schedule with two days per week in the office.

Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience:

7 years of progressively responsible HR experience with high school diploma or GED; or 3 years of professional experience in one or more HR areas with a bachelor’s degree. Relevant education and experience will be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.

Preferred Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree and prior experience working in Employee Relations, Payroll, or Leave and Benefits Administration.

Licenses and Certifications:

Professional in Human Resources (PHR) upon hire, SHRM upon hire, or other HR‑related certifications upon hire.

Job Duties

Provide full support in functional HR areas including benefits, employee relations, workers’ compensation, and leave administration, recruitment, compensation, and organizational development and training.

Counsel staff, supervisors, and managers to identify and resolve personnel issues and improve workforce performance.

Coordinate administration and confidential investigation of workers’ compensation.

Assist with benefit administration and provide guidance on policy interpretation.

Create reports and assist with statistical analyses as requested.

Ensure accuracy of personnel information and perform other duties as assigned.
