
Assistant Property Manager - Commercial

Compensation: Up to $75K base + bonus + benefits
The Role
We’re looking for an Assistant Property Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a diverse portfolio including medical office, retail, industrial, and multifamily assets. This is a hands‑on, high‑visibility role ideal for someone who understands property operations, enjoys being in the field, and can balance tenant relations, financial tracking, and vendor coordination. What You’ll Do
Property Operations & Tenant Relations
Act as the primary point of contact for tenants; handle service requests, issues, and day‑to‑day communication Coordinate tenant move‑ins/move‑outs including access, COIs, and logistics Conduct routine property inspections and identify maintenance or operational issues Create and manage work orders for internal teams and third‑party vendors Coordinate preventative maintenance and repairs (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) Source bids, track vendor performance, and maintain compliance documentation Assist with emergency response and after‑hours issues as needed Assist with annual budgets and capital planning Support monthly reporting and CAM reconciliations Track security deposits and help maintain accurate financial records Lease Administration
Maintain rent rolls and track key lease dates (renewals, expirations, options) Ensure lease data accuracy and flag discrepancies Projects & CapEx Support
Assist with tenant improvements and capital projects Coordinate with contractors, architects, and tenants Track budgets, timelines, and project completion Leasing & Marketing Support
Help maintain marketing materials and property listings Coordinate tours and support leasing activity tracking What We’re Looking For
2–5 years of commercial property management experience (medical office a plus) Strong understanding of lease administration, CAM reconciliations, and property financials Experience working with vendors, tenants, and ownership groups Proficiency in Excel and property management/accounting systems (QuickBooks a plus) Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and proactive Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field (or equivalent experience)
