A well-established company in Northern Virginia is seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal to join its in-house Legal team. This is a high-visibility role offering broad exposure across corporate governance, securities compliance, and commercial matters, working closely with cross-functional teams including Finance and senior legal leadership.

About the Role The Corporate Paralegal will support a wide range of corporate and compliance matters, assist with regulatory filings, and play a key role in maintaining corporate records and governance documentation. This position reports to senior legal leadership and is ideal for a detail-oriented professional looking to grow within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation, review, and coordination of regulatory and corporate filings

Support compliance obligations and coordinate with external counsel and internal stakeholders

Maintain corporate records and governance documents, including board materials, minutes, consents, and organizational documents

Assist with equity and stock administration-related legal tasks in collaboration with internal teams

Conduct legal and factual research; prepare summaries and memoranda

Provide litigation support, including document collection and coordination with external counsel

Support legal operations initiatives including process improvements and vendor coordination

Assist with drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts and NDAs under attorney supervision

Manage timelines and project plans for key legal deliverables

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program, or equivalent experience

2+ years of experience as a corporate paralegal, preferably with an in-house legal team or law firm

Experience supporting regulatory or corporate filings

Strong understanding of corporate governance and public company practices

Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information

Experience with commercial contracts and/or legal operations tools is a plus
