Vineyard Decorators is a growing interior design firm and 20,000 sq. ft. furniture showroom located on Martha’s Vineyard. We specialize in custom residential homes, full-scale renovations, and turnkey furnishing projects.
We are seeking a Senior Interior Designer to lead projects from concept through installation. This is a hands‑on leadership role for a designer with strong construction experience, client management skills, and a sharp design eye.
What You’ll Do:
Lead residential design projects from initial concept through final install Develop and present design concepts, layouts, and full furnishing/finish schemes Serve as the primary point of contact for clients Collaborate with general contractors, architects, and vendors Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables Mentor and oversee junior designers and design assistants Source, specify, and price furniture, materials, and finishes Manage General Contractors digital binders with all construction documentation Prepare client presentations (AutoCAD, renderings, boards) What We’re Looking For:
8+ years of interior design experience (residential required) Proven ability to lead projects and manage clients confidently Highly organized with strong project management skills Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Strong communication and presentation skills Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment Health insurance 401(k) Paid vacation Housing available Location: Martha’s Vineyard, MA (Relocation required) About Us: We are a fast‑growing, collaborative team combining a full‑service design studio with a large‑scale furniture showroom—allowing our designers to execute projects at a high level from start to finish.
