AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers, including public sector. This team is diverse and builds and supports products, applications for AWS sellers and manages large scale infrastructure of 1P and 3P platforms. The AFX (AWS Field Experience) Customer Relationship Management (CRM) team is looking for a passionate, innovative, committed, results‑oriented Salesforce Developer to design, architect and build solutions that bring industry best practices/standards, define metrics, and solve complex business problems for our field team to manage, maintain and operate at scale. The person will be working on the latest Salesforce technologies and will have the opportunity to work with AWS Services to innovate in the space of Customer Relationship Management (CRM). You’ll be chartered with building applications that deliver critical capabilities to the field and embed operational knowledge and encode best practices into everything we do. As part of the broader AWS Sales and Marketing organization, you will also contribute to the broader cloud strategy for AWS and potentially future AWS products.
Key Job Responsibilities
Architect, design and build scalable, flexible, and integrated solutions for sales and operations teams in partnership with other technology partners, teams, and leaders within and external to the SMGS organization.
Provide solutions for our CRM and native AWS tools/applications to automate, optimize, and quote-to-cash transactional workflows, improving operational efficiency and simplifying systems, processes, and tools to improve seller and customer experiences.
Lead the complex charter of building and delivering cloud services and CRM solutions, jointly defining strategy, vision, and roadmap of multi‑year business‑critical cloud technology solutions to be rolled out to sellers.
Define technical initiatives to drive cost optimization across various CRM and AWS environments, bring thought leadership to manage availability, latency, and performance of mission‑critical tools and services.
Build solutions in Salesforce.com leveraging Force.com, APEX, Lightning Web Components, Web Services, and APIs.
Own end‑to‑end design, development, security, development best practices, integration, deployment (CI/CD), release management, and automation regression testing.
Develop integrations and apply integration patterns.
Deliver operationally excellent features along with operational dashboards, alarms, and notifications.
Support cross‑systems integrations across native Salesforce ecosystem and other cloud technologies including AWS.
Partner with Sales, Operations, Product, and external customers to deliver tailored solutions that support business requirements, create a superlative user experience, and drive tangible business value.
Participate in the planning and analysis of requirements for system enhancements, translating requirements into well‑architected solutions that best use the Salesforce platform and products.
Basic Qualifications
Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large‑scale infrastructure.
Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust.
Experience with Linux/Unix.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build processes.
Bachelor’s degree.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with distributed systems at scale.

The base salary range for this position is 129,200 – 174,800 USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
