Summary: The Technical Trainer is responsible for developing training content and training new employees, staff and attorneys on technology systems and applications, as well as supporting technology rollouts and upgrades. This role partners across departments to assess needs, align training strategy with business objectives, and drive adoption of the Firm’s learning and performance management systems. Key Responsibilities: Provide new hire technology training and follow-up for attorneys and staff. Provide user support and training for technology rollouts and upgrades. Host technology webinars (lunch-and-learn sessions) and classroom training that demonstrate best practices for using Firm software. Evaluate the effectiveness of technology training programs. Assist documentation and promotion of best practices in the use of innovative technologies. Promote awareness of tools and resources, solicit attorney and staff participation in initiatives, and gather feedback. Research, evaluate, and report on third-party products, services, resources, and tools to improve internal and client service delivery. Research, evaluate, and recommend practice innovation software and tools focused on enhancing efficiency, speed, and accuracy to remove administrative burdens. Identify opportunities to leverage existing and emerging technologies into practices and assist in coordinating pilot and proof of concept programs. Manage and support the design, development, implementation and integration efforts for client-facing or internal-facing products, services, and solutions. Assist in the design of client-facing or internal-facing products. Assist in the coordination, management, and execution of technology projects and initiatives, using proven and effective project management techniques and tools. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role. Project management experience in a time-sensitive and fast-paced environment. Experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Kofax, Articulate Storyline, SurePoint, NetDocuments, and other similar applications strongly preferred. Proficiency in Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Strong technical knowledge in software and systems. Ability to adapt training content to different audiences and learning styles. Proficiency in using various training delivery methods and technologies. Exceptional communication and people skills, including presentation skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Work Environment: Work primarily in a climate controlled indoor office environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. This role operates in an office environment with rare exposure to airborne dust, moderate noise levels and seasonal environmental conditions for heating/cooling. Ability to travel 10% of time to other Firm office with additional travel required during peak training or rollout periods. The compensation range for this position is $65,00-$85,000 annually, representing our good faith and reasonable estimate of the potential compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on numerous factors, including the candidate's qualifications, experience, skill set, and office location.
