Job Title: Associate Brand Manager

Job Summary
This position is responsible for assisting in the leadership and management of one or more of our consumer brands within our marketing department. The individual must be able to work in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment with an emphasis on collaborative interdepartmental teamwork.
Responsibilities
Major Responsibilities / Activities
Brand plan development and P&L management: Contribute to the development of a plan that achieves company P/L targets. This will include, but is not limited to, advertising, program/promotions, and research. Must be able to work collaboratively with agencies/vendors and internal resources to drive superior market results.
Program management and execution: Manage the day‑to‑day logistics of the brand programs with oversight and guidance as needed. Owns timeline management, budget, and program analysis.
New product development: Works with NPD team to turn consumer insights into profitable marketing initiatives and product innovations. Helps develop selling proposition and sufficient launch support plans for retail.
Market analysis: Provides consumption‑based data analysis for the brand. Provides actionable insight and support to the enterprise to better understand market trends and dynamics. Also, identifies opportunities in markets where there are unmet needs.
Sales support: Provides the sales organization with best‑in‑class materials for retailer presentations working closely with Category Management. Must have experience supporting the Monthly and longer‑term S&OP planning process. Manage budget for programming and all related PO and AP tracking to stay within budget.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field. MBA or MA/MS in marketing preferred. Minimum 4 years of related work experience.
Experience: Educational background in marketing; with minimum of 2 years’ experience in brand management preferred.

Proven experience in project planning and management, budgeting and financial analysis, and product positioning.

High proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Required Knowledge
Familiarity with company sales and merchandising standards, policies and procedures, and competitive position. Knowledge of the industry.
Travel
5% ability to travel via car, plane, rail.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

We follow a hybrid work schedule. All applicants must be able to work in our Tarrytown office Tues/Wed/Thurs (remote on Mon/Fri).
Work Hours
40 hours per week.
Salary Range
$90,000 to $110,000
