Position Overview The Marketing Manager supports the development and execution ofEmerge’smarketing strategy by shaping and sharing the organization’s story across platforms. This roleis responsible forbrand consistency, content creation, community engagement, and supporting strategic communications that advanceEmerge’smission and visibility
Primary Responsibilities
Collaborate with Leadership to support and execute Emerge’s overall marketing and communications strategy
Develop and steward Emerge’s brand identity, ensuring consistency in voice, messaging, and visual presentation
Create and schedule social media posts, newsletters, and website content highlighting programs, staff, participants, and events
Build and communicate Emerge’s story through compelling content, including testimonials, impact stories, and program highlights
Assistin drafting and coordinating press releases and external communications
Develop print and digital marketing materials (e.g., brochures, flyers, impactreport)
Partner with external marketing/vendor support for website updates, optimization, and performance
Assistwith creation of presentation materials and slide decks for leadership, fundraising, and community meetings
Oversee media capture and management for events and programs (photography, video, testimonials) Monitor basic marketing performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement
Develop and oversee a volunteer pipelineand program,coordinatingand galvanizing volunteers for various needs throughout the organization.
Adhere to all organizational and departmental policies and procedures, including compliance with all behavioral, ethical, and client boundary expectations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Working knowledge of marketing principles, branding, and social media strategy
Familiarity with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Meta Business Suite, or similar platforms)
Ability to create, edit, and curate compelling written and visual content
Strong storytelling ability with a heart for mission-driven work
Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate across teams and adapt messaging for different audiences
Comfort working with external vendors and creative partners
Willingness to attend and support occasional after-hours community or promotional events
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with content creation, social media management, or digital marketing strongly preferred
Experience in nonprofit, behavioral health, workforce development, or similar field preferred
Experience with event coordination, media capture, or volunteer engagement preferred
