Job Title: Architectural Designer The Design Professional coordinates and/or undertakes the design development, production, and delivery of complex architectural projects. You will either work as a member of the project design team or manage your own projects. Completing work as planned and in conformance with the design intent is crucial. This role involves independent action and decision‑making, as well as supervising and coaching design professionals. You will report directly to the Director of Architecture.

Responsibilities

Analyze and develop approaches to the creation and modification of architectural documents, elevations, sections, and details, ensuring incorporation of design intent with direction from the project architect.

Prepare 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings and build models in Revit.

Assist in client, consultant, and contractor project information coordination.

Ensure documentation for all phases conforms to QA/QC, industry, and Best Practice Standards.

Conduct product and code research and incorporate codes into technical documents.

Assist in work planning and scheduling processes.

Participate in construction administration, including on‑site inspections and document management.

Lead a small team of junior designers in developing solutions to technical and design detail problems.

Mentor and direct the work of less experienced designers and may participate in professional development reviews.

Essential Skills

5+ years of experience in architecture.

Proficiency in Revit and BIM.

Strong knowledge of architectural building systems.

Experience in project coordination.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in architecture required.

Experience with commercial, manufacturing, light industrial, clean‑room, lab, or R&D facility design preferred.

Proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel.

Work Environment The position offers a hybrid work environment with the option to work from home on Tuesdays and Fridays. Enjoy a flexible 4‑9 schedule with half‑day Fridays. The company supports career development and organizes company get‑togethers.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Addison, TX.

Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
