Commercial Roofing Superintendent

to lead roofing crews and oversee daily job site operations.

This is a key leadership role for someone with strong commercial roofing knowledge, proven supervisory experience, and the ability to manage projects safely, efficiently, and professionally.

Position Summary The

Commercial Roofing Superintendent

is responsible for overseeing commercial roofing projects from start to finish, managing field crews, coordinating materials and equipment, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring projects are completed on time and to company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all phases of commercial roofing projects from start to completion

Supervise roofing crews and subcontractors across multiple job sites

Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and fall protection standards

Coordinate daily job site activities, labor, material deliveries, and equipment needs

Monitor project schedules, job progress, and crew productivity

Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, vendors, and suppliers

Conduct site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to specifications

Maintain accurate daily reports, job documentation, and progress updates

Identify and resolve job site issues quickly and professionally

Qualifications

Minimum of

5 years of commercial roofing experience

At least

3 years in a supervisory or superintendent role

Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, including:

TPO

PVC

EPDM

Built‑Up Roofing (BUR)

Roof Coating Systems

Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and fall protection requirements

OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple crews and priorities

Willingness to travel to various job sites
