Commercial Roofing Supervisor
to lead crews in the field and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.
Position Summary The Commercial Roofing Supervisor is responsible for
directly managing roofing crews on-site , ensuring daily production goals are met, enforcing safety standards, and maintaining quality workmanship. This is a hands‑on leadership role working alongside crews and coordinating with management.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and lead commercial roofing crews on job sites
Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with OSHA standards
Coordinate daily job tasks, materials, and equipment
Monitor crew productivity and job progress
Perform quality checks to ensure work meets company standardsCommunicate with Project Managers and leadership on job status
Train and mentor crew members and helpers
Assist with hands‑on roofing work as needed
Maintain daily reports and job documentation
Requirements
Minimum
5 years
of commercial roofing experience
At least
2–3 years
in a leadership or supervisory role
Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems:
TPO, PVC, EPDM (Single‑Ply)
Built‑Up Roofing (BUR)
Roof Coating Systems
OSHA 10 preferred (OSHA 30 is a plus)
Ability to read basic drawings and scopes of work
Strong leadership and communication skills
Valid driver's license required
