Our interdisciplinary team works collaboratively to help patients restore function, improve mobility, and enhance overall quality of life. Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to lead our therapy department. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all rehabilitation services, ensuring clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and strong team performance. The ideal candidate is both a skilled clinician and an effective leader who thrives in a collaborative healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the rehabilitation department, including Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy services Supervise, mentor, and support therapy staff to ensure high-quality patient care and professional growth Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and regulatory requirements Develop, implement, and monitor therapy programs and clinical protocols Manage staffing schedules, productivity, and departmental budgets Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and administration to optimize patient outcomes Monitor patient progress, outcomes, and satisfaction metrics Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reporting Qualifications
Licensed Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of Texas Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment Experience in skilled nursing, inpatient rehab, or outpatient settings preferred Employment Type
