Director, Total Rewards

Provides strategic leadership for the design, implementation, and administration of the organization’s total rewards programs. Oversees all aspects of compensation and benefits including executive compensation, sales incentive design, bonus programs, base salary structures, and benefits administration. The leader ensures that total rewards programs are competitive, equitable, and aligned with business objectives, enabling the organization to attract, retain, and motivate top talent. Requires a data‑driven, forward‑thinking approach and strong understanding of market trends, regulatory requirements, and organizational strategy. While the role can be performed from various locations in the Northeast, preference will be given to candidates based in Baltimore, Pennsylvania/Southern New Jersey, and Western New York. Essential Functions

Lead and execute Greenlight Networks’ comprehensive Total Rewards strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals across multiple business units. Partner with the SVP of HR on executive compensation matters, including annual incentive plans, equity programs, and governance. Design and implement compensation programs (e.g., sales compensation, bonus structures, incentive plans) that drive performance and support organizational objectives. Oversee the annual benefits renewal process, including vendor management, plan design, and cost optimization. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including ERISA, ACA, and 401(k) audits; maintain plan documents and Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs). Develop and execute a comprehensive communication strategy to effectively promote total rewards offerings, including compensation, benefits, wellness, and recognition programs. Lead the annual salary planning cycle, including market analysis, budget recommendations, and merit increase strategies. Continuously assess and optimize total rewards programs using data analytics and market benchmarking to ensure competitiveness and effectiveness. Collaborate closely with Finance to align compensation and benefits strategies with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Provide data‑driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership to inform strategic decision‑making and talent management. Establish and maintain robust compliance protocols; conduct regular audits to mitigate risk and ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards. Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee and organizational information. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

5+ years of progressive experience in Total Rewards, Compensation, or Benefits leadership roles. Proven expertise in compensation design, including executive and sales compensation plans. Deep experience with market benchmarking, compensation analytics, and incentive plan modeling. Strong analytical and financial acumen, with advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools. Experience managing budgets, forecasting, and aligning rewards strategies with financial goals. Knowledge of payroll processes and employment tax regulations preferred. Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws and regulatory compliance requirements. Demonstrated ability to scale processes and systems in a growing organization. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders. Other Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Master’s degree in a related field preferred. SHRM‑SCP, SPHR, or similar certification preferred. Our job titles may span more than one career level. The annual pay range for this position is $130K - $160k. The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
