Our client is a well-known, nationwide fuel and energy brand, who is expanding their Houston team and looking to add a
relationship-driven Account Manager
to oversee and grow a defined portfolio of accounts. This is a
field-based role
focused on maintaining strong partnerships, driving renewals, and expanding existing business!
What You’ll Be Doing
Manage and grow a portfolio of
gas station and fuel distributor accounts
within a defined Houston territory
Build and maintain strong relationships with
dealers, operators, and business owners
Drive
contract renewals
and ensure long-term customer retention
Identify opportunities to
expand accounts
and increase fuel volume and program adoption
Act as the primary point of contact for your accounts, ensuring high levels of
customer satisfaction
Spend 3–4 days in the field meeting with customers; balance time with remote work
Review account performance, including
P&L alignment and profitability metrics

What They’re Looking For
3+ years of
account management or territory management experience
Experience within
oil & gas or fuel distribution — specifically on the downstream / retail side
Background managing relationships with
gas station owners, dealers, or convenience store operators
Comfortable working in a
field-based role with regular local travel
