Where You Come In
You are an expert in UI and visual design.
Drive aesthetically strong execution of our mobile products.
Utilize and contribute to Dexcom’s Design System.
Shape and contribute to the UI design strategy to define and elevate the quality bar across the Dexcom portfolio.
Design the visual experience across iOS/Android/Web and companion surfaces (e.g., watch/receiver or multi‑device experiences where applicable), ensuring platform‑native fidelity.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary designers, developers, stakeholders, and partners across the Dexcom portfolio.
Ensure that designs are implemented as intended across iOS, Android, Web apps, and other devices through collaboration with development engineers.
Present design proposals with confidence and seek to inform and influence the audience.
Learn from team members and mentor other designers through craft feedback, visual critique, and hands‑on collaboration.
Be a design diplomat. Socialize ideas with stakeholders and design partners to gain alignment and find mutually agreeable solutions.
Be a positive influence on our culture, building up our teams, departments, and company through words and actions. Welcome feedback and respectful disagreement.
Own the results. Be accountable for the project and design decisions.
What Makes You Successful
You bring strong visual design skills and a sharp eye for UI aesthetics.
You have extensive experience driving visual design for native mobile apps using Material Design and iOS HIG.
You have a strong understanding of platform‑specific design patterns, performance considerations, and deployment workflows.
You have experience working with design systems, both as a user and contributor.
You have proven experience shipping native mobile products (iOS/Android), beyond responsive web or hybrid apps.
You are proficient in Figma.
Basic understanding of Swift or other programming languages to effectively communicate with developers is a plus.
You thrive in a highly collaborative, fluid, fast‑paced environment.
You have a proven ability to manage schedules, prioritize tasks, and work within deadlines.
You bring a proactive, accountable approach and can show ownership and lead your projects.
Experience with WCAG accessibility guidelines is a plus.

Experience And Education Requirements
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5‑8 years of related experience, or a Master’s degree and 2‑5 years of equivalent industry experience, or a PhD and 0‑2 years of experience.
Flex Workplace Your primary location will be a home office. You will not have an assigned workstation and will work with your manager to determine office visit needs. You must live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120 km).
