Senior Director, Finance for North America
in Austin, Texas. This role works in a hybrid environment, 3 days in office and 2 days remotely.
Reporting to the CFO, this role is responsible to develop and execute the overall Finance strategy for North America. This role serves as the primary business partner to the VP/GM of North America, supporting all regional leaders and functions in the regional reporting structure. The incumbent will be accountable for the financial planning and analysis, as well as the accounting operations of the North America business. As a business partner, the incumbent will need to be capable of making recommendations that drive business related decisions for sales, sales programs, service, operations and quality.
Responsibilities
Act as business partner to North America (NA) senior leadership team providing financial, operational and commercial support and guidance
Support alignment between strategy and finance across the NA business
Responsible for forecasting and budgeting for NA businesses and driving profitability goals through cross-functional partnerships
Present monthly and quarterly financial reports as well as providing overview of business performance and status of business’ KPIs to corporate and regional leadership teams
Evaluation of market and industry trends to determine if they reflect anticipated company performance
Perform business modeling and analysis for various projects to be used in strategic decision making
Responsible for allocating capital and providing support for strategic investments
Risk management, including SOX compliance and audits
Championing continuous improvement efforts throughout company and finance department
Manage and leading the Finance team
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
Master’s Degree (MBA) is preferred
Minimum of 10 years of experience
Excellent knowledge and practice of P&L, balance sheet, and free cash flow statements
Demonstrated ability to partner with leadership to grow business
Demonstrated knowledge of using finance data to make informed strategic business decisions
Previous experience within practice and/or a manufacturing environment or related sector beneficial, either in current or in a previous role
Understanding of market and how to support commercial needs
Strong proactive communicator with the ability to engage and influence at all levels
