
Analytics & Rewards Analyst - Kansas City (Hybrid)

The Attorney Analytics & Rewards Analyst prepares and distributes data required for the shareholder and associate compensation cycles to measure attorney performance, in addition to other responsibilities.
This is a hybrid position located in Kansas City, Missouri.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the preparation and distribution of data required for the shareholder and associate compensation cycles to measure attorney performance to expectations and determine annual compensation increases and/or decreases, shareholder elevations and capital contribution requirements. Interpret, evaluate, and interrelate financial and non-financial data to develop innovative benchmarking tools to analyze and project the financial impact of talent and compensation changes to the firm for incorporation into strategic decision-making. Provide stakeholders with accurate and timely financial and non-financial metrics to evaluate business performance and manage talent expectations compared to plan and industry peers. Perform ad hoc requests and respond to inquiries in a timely manner, assuring all matters are appropriately resolved. Identify areas for process improvement and collaborate with team members across the organization to implement change through effective use of technology. Reinforce a culture of growth and development by continuing to expand technical knowledge and foster personal development by attending educational workshops, collaborating with team members and utilizing available resources. Ensure all activities performed are in compliance with firm policies and procedures and external rules and regulations. Perform such other/additional duties as may from time to time be assigned.
Qualifications
Analytical and financial modeling skills sufficient to prepare, interpret and present quantitative analysis of financial and non-financial data to support the financial planning function. Proficient in Microsoft Excel with the ability to extract, manipulate and analyze data from internal systems and/or data warehouse environments. Familiarity with VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) with the ability to create and edit macros. Ability to leverage Microsoft Access to create Relational Databases in order to more effectively store information and generate reports. Ability to effectively manage numerous competing priorities under tight deadlines with minimal guidance in a fast-paced environment while continually implementing new processes and learning new skills. Ability to understand how business processes and measures of output such as productivity and efficiency drive financial results. Effective oral and written communications including the ability to influence and persuade.
Education And Certifications
Preferred: Bachelor's degree. Accounting, Finance or comparable field.
Experience Required
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
