to drive major gifts and grateful patient fundraising initiatives that directly support hospital priorities and patient care programs. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors with the capacity to give
$10,000+ , with a strong emphasis on
$100,000+ major gifts . You will collaborate closely with senior leadership, physicians, and foundation board members to expand philanthropic partnerships and advance fundraising goals. Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of
100150 major gift prospects and donors Lead the full lifecycle of donor engagement: identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship Partner with physicians to advance
grateful patient fundraising
opportunities Identify and qualify new donor prospects in collaboration with senior leadership and board members Conduct donor visits, calls, and written outreach to build meaningful relationships Prepare compelling proposals, donor communications, and stewardship reports Support cultivation events, including guest strategy and donor briefings Maintain accurate donor activity records in
RE NXT
database Develop deep knowledge of hospital programs, initiatives, and capital priorities to effectively communicate funding needs Qualifications Bachelors Degree required
| Masters Degree preferred 510 years
of development or related fundraising experience in a
non-profit setting
(hospital experience strongly preferred) Proven success securing
major gifts Experience working with physicians, senior leadership, and board members Strong writing, communication, and analytical skills Proficiency with donor database systems (RE NXT preferred) What Youll Bring Relationship-driven approach to philanthropy Ability to confidently engage high-capacity donors Strategic thinking with strong organizational follow-through Passion for advancing healthcare through philanthropy Ready to make an impact?
