Compensation & Benefits Salary Range:
$127,446 – $191,159 Full benefits package + retirement plan
Role Overview The Director of Development will lead
major gift fundraising efforts , focusing on donors capable of contributing
$10,000+ (with emphasis on $100K+ gifts) . This role works closely with physicians and leadership to drive
grateful patient fundraising initiatives
supporting hospital priorities.
Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of
100–150 major donors Identify, cultivate, and solicit high-value donors Partner with physicians to expand
grateful patient programs Conduct donor outreach via meetings, calls, and communications Develop compelling proposals and stewardship reports Collaborate with senior leadership and Foundation Board Support fundraising events and donor engagement strategies Maintain accurate donor records in
RE NXT database
Requirements Bachelor’s Degree required
(Master’s preferred) 5–10 years
in development/fundraising (hospital/non-profit preferred) Strong
writing, communication, and analytical skills
Ideal Candidate Experience working with
healthcare fundraising or hospital systems Strong relationship-building and donor engagement skills Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability
