You will serve as a strategic partner to physicians and executive leadership, driving a sophisticated “Grateful Patient” program and securing major gifts that leave a lasting legacy.
What you will be doing
Strategic Portfolio Management: Lead and nurture a portfolio of 100-150 high-impact donors, with a specialized focus on securing visionary gifts of $100,000+.
Relationship Building: Guide the full lifecycle of donor engagement—from initial identification and cultivation to personal solicitation and lifelong stewardship.
Clinical Collaboration: Partner closely with dedicated physician partners to bridge the gap between clinical excellence and philanthropic support through our Grateful Patient initiatives.
Collaborative Growth: Work alongside the Senior Vice President, the Board of Directors, and senior staff to identify and qualify new prospects.
Compelling Storytelling: Craft inspiring proposals, personalized communications, and detailed stewardship reports that demonstrate the profound impact of donor generosity.
Exclusive Events: Partner with the Foundation team to design and execute high-level cultivation events, including guest list development and executive briefings.
Data Integrity: Utilize RE NXT to maintain precise donor activity records, ensuring our outreach remains data-driven and personal.
Organizational Excellence: Uphold the highest performance standards and professional behaviors within a premier hospital environment.
What you must have
Education: Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience: 5 to 10 years of successful development or related experience within a non-profit environment.
Communication: Exceptional writing skills and strong analytic abilities to synthesize complex medical priorities into compelling narratives.
Professionalism: A deep commitment to organizational performance standards and ethical fundraising behaviors.
Nice to have
Advanced Education: Master’s Degree preferred.
Specialized Knowledge: Prior experience in a hospital or healthcare fundraising setting is highly preferred.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with RE NXT or similar donor management databases.
Salary/Rate Range:
$127,446.00 – $191,159.00
