As a Surface Experts Sales Representative Your job is to find and build relationships with customers who work in property management and facilities maintenance. Our services are unique, so it will be your job to educate and build trust with our customers. We are looking for someone who lives out our core values of Serving Others, Being a Problem Solver and Trusting the Process. Although preferred, prior sales experience is not required – we will train you! You must be comfortable with, and willing to meet new people, cold calling on a few potential customers who haven’t heard of our services yet, re‑visiting repeat customers who use our services regularly to keep the relationship fresh and strong, and truly believing that the services we offer is a help to our customers, and you demonstrate 100% confidence that we are offering something completely beneficial for them! This isn’t selling widgets to someone who isn’t interested; it is introducing a service that our customers need and want but may not have known was available previously, as we are a specialized service provider that is unique to the area. We have all the contacts, details, tools, support and help you need! You just provide the energy, positive attitude, and great communication skills! Perks and Benefits Compensation and Time Off Compensation: Base salary + Unlimited Commission Time Off: Paid holidays and minimum 10 days of paid time off. Benefits: Company Car, Gas, Training and development. Stipends: Phone stipend Responsibilities Meeting with 12-15 contacts a day. On‑site visits, phone calls and email follow‑ups In a variety of industries, primarily Property Management (apartment complexes) but also Hotels, Movers, Builders... etc. Maintaining and Expanding Existing Customer Relationships You will educate our customers about how Surface Experts can help them You must enjoy working with people, both with our customers and with our team You will revisit our customers with quality control follow‑ups to validate level of Customer satisfaction You will earn the trust of our customers Working Within a Sales Team and Process You will be taught to memorize a sales script and train with some role‑playing practice You will be taught to document sales activities in CRM; from lead to work order and all steps in between You will report accurately and daily You’ll be asked to brainstorm to find new leads and opportunities Required Qualifications Goal‑oriented, self‑starter, and energetic Licensed to operate a passenger car and have a clean driving record Professional, caring, and service‑minded Possess a readiness to work with a metrics‑based, process‑driven sales team You need to be outgoing, people‑oriented, energetic personality You need to be a good communicator and can work well as part of a small, close team The owners' style is not to micro‑manage, but to train, teach, lead and encourage – you WILL be spending time on your own doing your sales routes but will be in constant communication with the rest of the team with any help or advice you may need. You must be reliable to be where you are scheduled to be on time, communicate with the team, ask for help when needed, and prove we can trust and count on you Preferred Skills Previous Sales job helpful, but not required General working knowledge of multi‑family properties (apartment complexes) and/or construction industry, helpful but not required Experience using CRM tool and process, helpful but not required Experience working in base + commission environment, helpful but not required What a Typical Day Looks Like Map your route, run ~15 on‑site visits, and book work.
