Job Description As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you will assist customers in selecting vehicles, explaining model options, features, and financing solutions. You must be knowledgeable or willing to learn about our vehicle inventory, including new and pre-owned models, their features, performance, safety, and financing options.
You will present vehicles in an engaging and informative manner, conduct test drives responsibly, and maintain strong relationships to encourage repeat business. This role requires excellent communication skills and a professional appearance.
Responsibilities
Assist customers with vehicle selection and promote model options, features, value-added products, and financing alternatives according to dealership policies
Conduct vehicle test drives ensuring compliance with speed limits and road safety rules
Facilitate vehicle delivery by explaining operation, warranty, and maintenance requirements
Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales documentation
Stay informed about all vehicles, accessories, promotions, and financing options
Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and educational classes as requiredPerform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Valid and unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record
Professional, dependable, and able to work independently to meet goals
Strong customer service orientation with a focus on safety
Basic computer and internet skills
Excellent communication skills
Professional appearance and work ethic
Ability to read and understand instructions
