
Inside Sales & Marketing Coordinator

Salina, KS Great Plains Manufacturing is seeking an outgoing, energetic, detail-oriented person to fill the role of Inside Sales and Marketing Coordinator. This person will support Great Plains and Land Pride territory managers and dealers in the United States to promote and sell GPM ag, compact utility, and construction products.
The Inside Sales and Marketing Coordinator’s primary responsibility is engaging in phone conversations with Territory Managers, Dealers, Retail Customers, and Ag Producers as well as order entry tasks and communication with manufacturing, shipping, and trucking. This is an on-site position based at the corporate office in Salina, KS. Typical hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Overnight travel of up to 20% per year is required.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
Promote and evaluate sales leads, discuss product features and selection based on customer needs and services for dealer sales representatives and territory managers.
Receive orders and complete order forms and data entry process in Order Promising System.
Receive inbound sales calls and collaborate with dealer sales representatives and territory manager to convert calls into sales. Research and respond to sales questions.
Provide product information and availability to dealer sales representatives and territory managers to fulfill orders. Compile, store and retrieve production data for availability.
Emphasize product features, machine specifications and quote prices and credit terms. Prepare sales orders for new equipment orders. Track inventory levels at dealers.
Provide estimated date of delivery, based on coordination with manufacturing and shipping delivery schedules to field sales team.
Quote prices and credit terms and prepare sales contracts for new product orders.
Track Option Returns, Demo Unit Registrations, track consignment inventory, bargain warehouse and other company inventory, and warranty registrations.
Research and resolve technical and business objections and delivery problems for dealer sales representatives and territory managers. Coordinate with other departments to ensure deadlines are met.
Prepare management reports of business transactions, order history and maintain expense accounts. Provide detailed reports to management of warranty registrations, order history, inventory, and territory goal status.
Maintain account activity tracking for dealer sales representatives and territory managers.
Develop and maintain dealer sales representatives and territory manager relationships.
Train dealers on Sales Pro and create video presentations on Inside Sales process. Attend and present product updates at annual and regional sales meetings. Attend national and regional sales shows to set up product booths and explain product features to dealers.
Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment.
Preferred Skills And Qualifications
High regard for exceptional customer service
Knowledge of construction equipment and power units, compact utility tractors and implements, and relative experience and understanding of the ag market and ag products
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Highly motivated self-starter; ability to work effectively with limited direct supervision
IBMi experience helpful, but not mandatory
Proficient in MS Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Travel of up to 8 weeks per year may be required
