Job Summary:
The Vice President of Sales and Marketing is responsible for leading, developing, and executing strategic sales and marketing initiatives to drive occupancy growth and brand awareness across the company’s managed assisted living facilities. This role will oversee all aspects of sales, business development, marketing strategy, and customer engagement to ensure the organization meets and exceeds its revenue and occupancy goals. The VP will work closely with executive leadership, and community-based sales and marketing professionals to align objectives and optimize results. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy to increase occupancy, revenue, and market share. Lead, mentor, and manage the sales and marketing individuals, including regional and community-based sales professionals. Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and demographic data to identify opportunities for growth and expansion. Establish and maintain relationships with referral sources, including healthcare professionals, senior organizations, and community influencers. Drive brand awareness and positioning through digital marketing, traditional advertising, public relations, and community outreach initiatives. Collaborate with operations, clinical, and finance teams to ensure sales and marketing efforts align with service delivery and financial goals. Monitor and evaluate key performance metrics, sales conversion rates, and marketing campaign effectiveness, making data-driven decisions to optimize results. Oversee the development and execution of sales training programs to enhance the effectiveness of the sales team. Manage the marketing budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum return on investment. Representing the company at industry conferences, networking events, and public forums to enhance brand visibility and credibility. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred). 10+ years of progressive experience in sales and marketing, preferably in senior living, healthcare, hospitality or a related industry. Proven track record of driving occupancy growth and revenue through strategic sales and marketing initiatives. SEO optimization and digital marketing expertise are preferred. Proficiency in CRM software, digital marketing strategies, and data analytics. Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing sales and marketing individuals. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to travel is needed to support company locations and business development initiatives.
