Events Marketing Manager
Ambience Healthcare, Inc., San Francisco, CA, United States
Summary
We are looking for a Strategic Event Marketer to own end-to-end execution of Ambience's event presence — from major healthcare conferences and trade shows to owned executive experiences, intimate dinners, and roundtables. You will be the DRI who ensures Ambience shows up with purpose, precision, and impact at every in-person moment.
Conferences and trade shows are the engine of our event program. You'll own how we show up at the events that matter most — managing booth presence, sponsorships, ancillary programming, and the full pre-to-post execution workflow — while also driving owned activations that deepen relationships with priority accounts. You thrive in complex, fast-moving environments, can mobilize stakeholders quickly, and bring both operational rigor and commercial awareness to everything you run.
What You'll Accomplish
Own end-to-end execution across a tiered event portfolio of conferences, trade shows, and owned activations — ensuring each is aligned to pipeline and brand priorities set by Marketing leadership.
Lead conference and trade show execution with tight project management: pre-event account targeting, booth and sponsorship logistics, onsite operations, ancillary programming, and post-event follow-up.
Execute owned activations (executive dinners, roundtables, workshops, showroom experiences) as an integrated part of the event portfolio — with a longer-term vision of enabling Sales to run self-serve owned events.
Support executive engagement programs including Executive Briefings and CxO Advisory logistics, ensuring each touchpoint is tailored, well-prepared, and documented.
Drive speaker program operations in partnership with Customer Marketing and Comms — managing submission logistics, preparation, and onsite coordination; content strategy is set collaboratively with GMM, PMM, and Customer Marketing.
Support the measurement framework that proves event ROI and informs future investment, partnering with Marketing Ops on attribution methodology.
Expected Outcomes
Conference and trade show execution is tight, with measurable improvements in meetings booked and pipeline influenced.
Owned activations deepen account relationships and contribute to pipeline progression.
Executive engagement programs run smoothly with complete preparation and follow-up.
Speaker submissions are on time and accepted sessions are well-supported.
Cross-functional event coordination is clear, predictable, and trusted by every stakeholder involved.
Event ROI is measurable and informs portfolio decisions.
What We Look For Must-Haves
4-7+ years in events marketing or experiential marketing in B2B SaaS, enterprise technology, or healthcare.
Demonstrated experience executing a high-volume portfolio of events, with particular strength in conference and trade show execution at scale — booth management, sponsorships, ancillary programming, and onsite operations.
Strong project management and cross-functional orchestration skills; ability to mobilize stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and keep complex programs moving without dropping details.
Experience managing event budgets (six figures+) and vendor relationships.
Strong communicator with executive presence; comfortable engaging with healthcare executives and operating in high-visibility settings.
Ability to operate with intensity in a fast-moving environment — driving alignment, decisions, and execution simultaneously.
Nice-to-Haves
Experience in healthcare, health IT, or clinical AI; familiarity with the healthcare conference landscape (HIMSS, HLTH, Becker's, Epic UGM).
Experience with event attribution and pipeline reporting; comfort with CRM-based measurement.
Proficiency with tools such as Asana, Notion, Hubspot, and Slack.
Pay Transparency The base compensation for this role is approximately $150,000–$200,000 USD per year, excluding equity or bonus targets.
We have intentionally provided a wide range to allow flexibility in cash/equity mix. Ambience leans toward generous equity grants so that our team truly shares in the impact we create.
Are you outside of this range? We encourage you to still apply. We take an individualized approach to compensation that considers experience, location, and overall fit.
Benefits
Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents.
401(k) with a company match of up to 3% of base salary.
A remote-friendly culture (with a San Francisco HQ) and full equipment provisioning to ensure you can work effectively from wherever you’re based.
Parental leave to support your family needs.
Annual company-wide off-sites, team off-sites and regular team lunches and all-hands gatherings, with travel, lodging and meals covered.
Flexible time off with no annual cap, company-wide holidays and an annual holiday shutdown from December 24–January 1 designed to support real rest and long-term sustainability.
