
Customer Service Representative

BigBadToyStore is an online-based toy store with a worldwide customer base, specializing in action figures, comic books and other pop culture materials.
We are looking for a highly skilled communicator focused on creating a positive customer experience. This onsite position requires availability from 12:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Experience
Three (3) to Five (5) years of customer service experience preferred.
Proven knowledge and utilization of customer service principles and practices.
Responsibilities
Communicate in a warm, friendly, and professional manner with customers via telephone, email, live chat, and messenger to provide an excellent experience.
Resolve product or service issues by actively listening, clarifying the issue, determining the cause, selecting and explaining the best solution, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution.
Seek and maintain knowledge about products and potential issues to provide the highest quality service.
Approach dissatisfied customers with patience and understanding, working with the CS team and other departments to develop an appropriate resolution.
Required Skills
Excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills; comfortable speaking live with customers.
Proficient computer and keyboarding skills, and knowledge of MS Office, internet, email, social media, and live chat applications.
Ability to learn and retain knowledge about products and processes.
Positive and upbeat attitude; contributing to the service team environment and fostering pride in being part of BBTS.
Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Attentive, empathetic, patient; having the ability to find the positive in any situation.
