Videographer/Editor – Media on the Rise (San Diego)
Position: Freelance/Contract (with potential for ongoing work)

Media on the Rise, a creative media + marketing agency based in San Diego, is seeking a talented Videographer/Editor to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who can film, edit, and deliver high-quality content quickly — from short-form Reels/TikToks to long-form branded videos, as well as photo shoots and creative assets.

What You’ll Do

Film branded content, events, and social media projects (short + long form).

Capture and edit short-form content (IG Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) using tools like CapCut.

Produce long-form content (interviews, podcasts, branded campaigns).

Conduct and shoot photo sessions for clients when needed.

Create quick branded graphics, thumbnails, and visuals in Canva.

Capture clean audio with microphones and sync properly in post-production.

Edit both your footage and content filmed by other team members/clients.

Deliver polished edits quickly while maintaining creativity and quality.

Communicate effectively about timelines, project updates, and deliverables.

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in videography, photography, and editing.

Access to professional camera, audio, and video equipment.

Skilled in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, Canva, and/or Lightroom.

Strong ability to create both short-form + long-form content.

Reliable, organized, and able to meet deadlines.

Bonus Points

Experience in social media content strategy.

Knowledge of motion graphics, color grading, or animation.
