Home Improvement Financing Relationship Specialist
At Regions, the Home Improvement Financing Relationship Specialist supports our team of Relationship Managers in the development of existing relationships with program sponsors and/or contractor clients, helping them achieve their goals and solve problems. Regions Home Improvement Financing, a division of Regions Bank, engages in strategic partnerships with home-improvement manufacturers, distributors, franchisors, trade groups, and independent contractors to provide Point-of-Sale financing capabilities. This enables these partners to provide homeowners with an additional option to pay for various improvements to their homes, benefitting both the contractor partner and the homeowner. Primary Responsibilities: Makes assigned outbound phone calls to contractors to educate them about product, process, or reporting enhancements and next steps required to utilize them Responds promptly to assigned inbound calls from program sponsors and/or contractors Provides information, answers routine questions, or refers problem/opportunity to Relationship Manager or Assistant Division Manager for satisfactory resolution Assists relationship managers in client conference pre-show planning and execution as well as post-show follow-up Assists relationship managers in the development and execution of annual relationship plans Assists relationship managers with new program sponsor launches Maintains client files on Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system including contact information, correspondence, and call reports as well as highlights of all client interactions useful to managing the relationship Supports relationship managers with miscellaneous administrative tasks as assigned Develops an in-depth knowledge of business development, marketing strategies and positioning, new program launch strategies, program sponsor and contractor training, choice of payment options, PartnerPortal reporting and tracking system capabilities, CRM system, loan center and contractor support workflow processes, pricing, program agreements, credit policy, market demand, and competition May attend certain client conferences or events May schedule and present new contractor onboarding training This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime pay for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or related field Or Associate's degree and two (2) years client-facing or related experience Or High School Diploma or GED and four (4) years client-facing or related experience Preferences: Prior client-facing or related experience Willingness and ability to travel Skills and Competencies: Ability to communicate with all personality types including dominant/strong personalities without fear or apprehension Ability to work in a collaborative environment Capacity and willingness to learn quickly Challenge oriented with "can-do" attitude Communicates in a positive, motivating, and persuasive way Organized, deliberate and detail oriented Sense of urgency Location options include: Salt Lake City, UT; Mooresville, NC Position Type: Full time Compensation Details: Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
