We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process.
Our retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, averaging an additional $1.22 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

Position Summary We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates for our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire store staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. The associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions. They work with a wide variety of merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and much more.
Responsibilities
Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
Performs non‑management open/close procedures.
Maintains the sales floor clean, stocked, and displays merchandise.
Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
Handles all cash and negotiable items in accordance with established policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
Answers incoming calls per company standards.
Effectively communicates the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, displaying respect and using effective communication tools.
Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
Successfully completes assigned training.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications
Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
Willing and able to perform duties and tasks for extended periods of time, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification.
May be asked to assist customers on the exterior of the building or retrieve products stored in exterior storage areas.
Minimum age 18 years old.
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Strong desire to work, serve customers, work with people, and be team‑oriented.
Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
Proficiency in basic math calculations.
Cash handling experience preferred.
Ability to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
Must be able to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Computer literate and able to operate Point‑of‑Sale (POS) systems and common office machines.
Commission Plan The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to FirstCash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2‑8% commission based on the gross profit of their personal performance. Applicants will receive more details during the interview process.
